The People at Lofno Oil Field Services

Lofno's principal (Phil Ormerod) has over 40 years oilfield experience in the international Oil & Gas business primarily in the drilling and completions domain of well engineering. This experience has been in both technical and operational roles (offshore and onshore) and included management level positions.

Phil's academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering plus a Masters in Petroleum Engineering.

During his career, Phil has worked in varied geographical areas from West Africa (Congo and Angola), the Middle East (Qatar, Yemen), North Africa (Algeria, Tunisia), the UKCS North Sea to SE Asia (China, Vietnam and the Philippines) in addition to his home country of Australia. He is therefore familiar with the different issues presented by dealing with diverse cultural environments.
